SPOOKY CLEAN-UP OF BRIGHTON BEACH FOR HALLOWEEN
More than 130 people took part in a fancy-dress ‘Halloclean’ silent disco beach clean event, organised by Pier 2 Pier Beach Clean on 29 October.
Amy Gibson, founder of community organisation Pier 2 Pier Beach Clean, said that a lot of litter had been left on the beach during Halloween weekend.
As well as gloves and litter-pickers, the organisers gave out headphones for people to listen to spooky music while they collected rubbish.
The event was the final monthly beach clean of 2017.
